How long does it take to build a Benton Builders Home?
Our homes typically take under 26 weeks to construct depending on the size of the home. Extensions & renovations will be less than this & the time frame will be worked out depending on scale of work.

Who organizes the building permit?
We organize & submit the building permit on your behalf. The cost of the building permit is included in the Quoted Price for your home.

Do the homes meet the new 6 star energy rating requirements?
Each new home is individually energy rated to ensure compliance with the 6 Star Energy Code. We take into account the orientation, site features & climatic zone of each house to ensure energy efficiency & comfortable living conditions.

Are the homes insulated?
Due to the 6 Star Energy Code all homes are insulated to the ratings specified to your Zone.

Can modifications be made to the standard designs?
Yes, modifications can be made to all of our designs.

Can designs be modified to accommodate disabled requirements?
Yes, we provide a construction & fitout for all degrees of disabled requirements such as:
Access Ramps & handrails,Safety grab rails,Step less showers, wider doorways & passages, disabled toilets, custom bench heights.
